This was a monthly series of technical round tables for landscape professionals that covered a variety of topics that were central to best water-wise practices. We held Technical Round Tables from Sept 2015-March 2017 in the Watershed Resource Center at Hendry's Beach.
Examples of topics included
• best practices for eliminating or converting lawns,
• planting climate appropriate plants,
• mulch basin architecture,
• when, how and where to make and use soil amendments,
• greywater – best components and practices for front loaders and more.
Barbara Wishingrad, ED, Sweetwater Collaborative, Fred Hunter, licensed landscape contractor, as well as others in Sweetwater Collaborative and our extensive network of landscape professionals and designers, have been the leaders/facilitators of the roundtables.
