What have we learned from the rain?

We will share our experience and knowledge about how our earthworks have been doing in the recent intense rains- mulch basins, swales, and channels from downspouts, in a variety of landscapes, under different conditions, such as flat or steep terrain, sandy or clay soil, surrounded by older plants or newly planted ones. Bring your ideas and examples of what you've done or seen along these lines if you have them, or come to learn from more experienced rainwater harvesters.

Hope to see you there!

Our goal for the Technical Round Table series is for professionals to feel more empowered and ready to promote or install cutting edge features, create a support system so we can quickly trouble shoot new or ongoing challenges with each other, use less water in a more efficient way without compromising aesthetics, and make our community more resilient. This is an ongoing process and we hope you’ll join us and continue to attend these productive meetings.
